Congratulations, ATC!! On the 12th of September 2008, the ATC Amnesty International Club defeated Help University College in the Amnesty International Debates. The ATC Amnesty International Club was proud to organize and host the event that created much awareness to the cruelty and inhumanity of maintaining capital punishment. The overflowing crowd was testament to the concern and determination our fellow students had in protecting and upholding human rights. We were honoured to have Datuk Siva Subramaniam (SUHAKAM Commissioner), Mr. Amer Hamzah (practicing lawyer) and Mr. Fahri Azzat (practicing lawyer) to grace the event. Their insightful comments and gentle guidance not only provided new perspectives to the debaters but to the spectators as well.
