    English Language Requirements
    The general English proficiency requirement may be met in one of the following ways:

    Note: Students who do not meet the English language proficiency requirements can undertake an intensive English course in their home country or in Malaysia.

    • English is the first language.
    • English was the language of instruction in secondary and/or tertiary studies completed.
    • Satisfactory performance in secondary or tertiary studies already completed in an English speaking country.
    • Achievement of a satisfactory level of performance in an English language subject at Year 12 or equivalent.
    • Minimum test score of 6.0 in IELTS. A score of at least 6 is required for each individual band.
    • Minimum test score of 550 in TOEFL, with a TWE (Test of Written English) score of 5. Scores must be available for both TOEFL and TWE.
    • Minimum score of 213 for computer-based TOEFL, with an Essay Rating (ER) score of 5.
